Street life is still unsafe for cats

Photos and stories — the LAN team and coworking guests. Cat data is current as of 01.2026.

LAN is a workspace and event space that cares deeply about the animals who have become part of its community. The cats live in our garden courtyard, warm up by the bar and see guests off to the gate.

Despite our care, street life remains unsafe for cats. These cats are looking for loving owners and are ready to move to a new home in Yerevan or anywhere in the world!

If you’ve fallen for one of them and are ready to take a cat into a new family — talk to the administrator or message us on Telegram @lan_yerevan.

Adopted

Grisha

A foundling kitten, we found him behind a sheet of plywood in the courtyard. Very clever: he learned to use the litter box on his own. Friendly and affectionate, purrs like a tractor yet isn’t noisy. The perfect cat )

Adopted

Donna (Donatella)

Age — 1 year. Treated for parasites, spayed. A self-sufficient, modest, unobtrusive cat with an unusual blue coat and eyes that look straight into your soul.

Adopted

Fiona

Despite her young age, she had a hard life, lost her kittens and came to us for help. Very affectionate, loves to “make biscuits” and purr, a sociable and unobtrusive cat.

Adopted

Ryska, 2-3 mo

A neighbour found him on the street — abandoned, or something happened to his family. Deparasitised and vaccinated, active, loves sitting in your arms, people-oriented and curious.

Adopted

Iriska (Ogryzok)

Lyudmilka’s son, the only one who survived an attack by a pack of street dogs. We thought he was gone too, but Irisk found his way back on the 2nd day. Now a big and respected house cat.

Adopted

Raffi (Raffaello)

Roni’s daughter, 1 year. Vaccinated, spayed, treated for parasites. The most active and feisty of the sisters: loves active games, toys, chasing with the family and scratches.

Adopted

Kirpich (Kira), ~1 year

A miniature cat. Spayed and treated for parasites. Loves playing with balls of yarn and with people, quite independent, but likes to sit on your lap and purr like a tractor.

Adopted

Simba, 1.5 months

A very businesslike little one! Treated for parasites, loves cuddles but reluctantly sits in your arms. Doesn’t stay still for a second!

Adopted

Leo (Leonardo)

The only boy among Roni’s 4 kittens (the “super ninja turtles”). A typical ginger character: affectionate, but likes to attack the “evil hand”. Adopted quickly — they were looking for a ginger boy exactly.

Forever in our memory

Section 05

The life of street cats only seems fun and exciting. In reality anything can happen to them, and every time it’s a trial for the team. That’s why we so wish there were no street cats at all. But when grief does come, we try to lay them to rest with dignity.

Lyudmilka

The 1st cat of LAN, around 6-8 years. She never came indoors, slept on the outdoor chairs, the terror of the block. She’d sit by the window as if to remind you it was time to feed her. She let herself be petted a little, but not by everyone.

killed by dogs · 06.2023

Erkyul

An affectionate, self-assured cat (~2-4 years) who adored being near people. Very sociable, reached out to people himself, loved sitting in your arms. A big, stately and curious explorer.

hit by a car · 30.08.2026

NLO

The main star of our social media, 2 years old! A cat with yellow eyes and incredible singing. Neutered, sociable, loved sitting on hands and keyboards, a professional food-beggar.

hit by a car · 01.2025

Gabi

A healthy sweet kitten, 850 g, 7 weeks, a girl with a beautiful coat.

died of a viral infection · 11.2025
